Preview only. A proposed redesign and working prototype — not the live Taber Rebels site.

About this demo

A working preview of what the association's website could be — built so the board can click through it rather than imagine it.

Try these, in this order

1

The schedule

Our real PeeWee season — nine games — generated from the team's own calendar rather than typed in, so it can't go stale.

Open the schedule →

2

A parent's account

Their players, what's coming up, and the forms to sign — ticked once instead of paper going missing.

Sign in as a parent →

3

Register a player

Five steps, about three minutes, ending with the player on the roster.

Walk through it →

4

The board's view

Registrations, documents, meetings, the financial summary — and the one that matters: one-button roster export for Football Alberta.

Sign in as a board member →

5

Change the text yourself

Sign in as a board member and use the content editor to rewrite a headline or swap in a team photo. No code, no developer, no waiting on one person.

Open the content editor →

6

The honest part

Open About and look at “Our records”, then the Members panel in the board area. Both are empty — not left blank to make a point, but because there is nothing to put in them.

What's real, and what isn't

Real

  • The PeeWee schedule — every game and practice in the 2026 season
  • The registration fees, sponsorship levels and safety record
  • The pages themselves, working, on any phone or computer
  • The roster export — it downloads a genuine CSV file

Simulated

  • The sign-in. It creates no account and sends nothing. It is not security.
  • All players. Every one is labelled “Sample” on purpose.
  • Payments. No card step, no money, deliberately.
  • Your edits are saved in your own browser only.
Never put real player information into this demo.

What the real version would add

Proper sign-in

The association's own accounts, with Google sign-in in front — so no password lives in the website and children's information sits behind real access control.

Real payments

Card payments through a hosted checkout, straight into an association bank account — with no card details ever stored on the site.

Records that stay put

Two or three people able to get in, everything documented, so the site survives any one volunteer — including whoever builds it.

What it costs, honestly

ItemCost
HostingFree
Domain nameAbout $11 a year
Card processingAbout 2.9% per registration — against roughly 10% now
Football Alberta membershipUnchanged — owed either way
Someone's timeThe real cost, and the one to design against
Nothing here is free of cost — it's free of software licences. Anyone who tells you otherwise hasn't read the invoice.

Where things stand

This is a preview

It sits on a preview address. Nothing has been changed, published or paid for, and the existing site is untouched.
